FRONT PANEL LED’S
LNB: Whenlit,thisLEDindicatesthecoaxcablefromtherece iverhasbeencorrectly
connectedtotheNOMAD2UniversalController,andthereceiverhaspower.(Note:
TheLNBLEDisilluminatedoncetheco axcableofthereceiverhasbeenconnected,but
doesNOTindicatetheCont rollerhaspower).
LOCK: Whenlit,thisLEDindicatesthe“strongest”orhighest”s ignalstrengthofthe
satellitehasbeenachievedandislockedontothedesiredsatellite.
DVB:Whenlit,indicatesthattheDVB(DigitalVideoBroadcast)is poweredupand
readytoidentifysatellites.
PEAK:Whenlit,thisLEDindicatesthedishhasfoundasignalandisadjustingforthe
“strongest”orhighest”signalstrengt hofthesatellite. Itwillturnoffaftersatellite
“Lock”hasbeenachieved.
FIND:Whenthe“Find”buttonhasbeenpressed,theFindLEDwillblink(indicating
thatthedishismoving)unt ilasatellitehasbeenfoundand identifiedandcant hen
establishaconnection.Oncethesatellitehasbeenidentified,theFindLEDwill remain
solid.(TheStowLEDalsoblinkswhenmotorsaremoving.)IftheNomad2islocked
ontoasatellitewithaskewabledish,pressingthe“Find”buttonagainwillactivateare
peakroutinewhichwillverifythedishalignmenttothesatelliteforoptimumsignallevel
fortheskewabledishes,theMD500(forDishNetwor k)andtheMHDTV(forDirecTV).
PressingtheFindbuttononnonskewabledishes(Executive18”and24”)allowsyouto
togglebetweensatellitesifsoprogrammedtodoso.
STOW:Whenthe“Stow”buttonispressed,theStowLEDwillblinkindicatingmotor
movementasthedishisbeingstowed.Oncethedishhasbeenstowed,theStowLED
willremainsolidforashortperiodoftimeandthenthepowerwillautomaticallyturnoff.
